Okay, I totally suck at this blogging thing. I think about things I could write about all the time, the ideas just hit me, but when it comes time to sit down and write something...all the ideas are gone. It isn't just blog ideas either, my entire short term memory is pretty shot. I swear I'm the only non-pregnant mother of a 14 1/2 month old that has pregnancy brain. I may have to resort to carrying around a notebook and a pen all the time the way my grandmother did when her memory started to go! Geesh I know I"m getting older, but memory loss at 32 is a bit much!
On another note, I think I'm going to file a workmans comp. claim with my husband for injuries aquired in the performance of my job as stay-at-home mom. lol In the past week I've dropped a can of cream of mushroom soup on my foot in the grocery store, and tryed to cut the tip of my thumb off while cutting up chicken for stir fry. I think the adequate compensation for these injuries might include a trip for a mani/pedi and a good nap. Think it will work?
Speaking of jobs, I still don't have one! I went to a job fair for a part time job at my husband's work, in home equity collections. I found out later from DH that they had over 85 people show up, the only interviewed 30 (I was one of them) and only had positions for 15 people. I guess they had quite alot of people that actually HAD collections experience. I have since applied for other full-time positions in other departments, I got a phone interview last week, but haven't heard anything more about a possible face-to-face interview. I also sent out 3 resumes for preschool teaching jobs, but heard nothing. I'm in this wonderful place where I'm overqualified for what I want to do, and underqualified for everything else. *sigh*
